They communicated well and were very responsive, but I never felt any heavy sales pressure. They let me know when they expected the windows to be done, scheduled my installation a few weeks in advance, and when I had a small issue with some metal trim bowing when the temperature jumped, they immediately sent someone out to address the issue. As soon as the job was done, they also sent me a copy of my warranty and let me know that they had filed all the necessary warranty paperwork.
Paul worked with me to provide exactly the look I was going for with the large picture window. He came to the house twice, brought samples, and made sure I was happy with the factory drawing before having me sign the contract. He even sent the drawing back once on his own when he thought they could do better on the mullion locations. I had an awning installed to replace a large window a/c/ unit above some existing glass block, and those mullions aligned exactly once it was installed. I had different glass and mullion types across different windows, different colors inside and out, and specialty hardware. Everything was delivered exactly as we had discussed.
I've never seen anyone work so efficiently. They showed up a bit early, brought all of the windows inside first and made sure they were paired with the right openings. There were 5 double-hung, an awning, and a large composite picture window, all replacements for existing windows in a 93 year old house. They budgeted 2-1/2 days, but were done in 1-1/2 days. Nothing phased them, even uneven rough openings that had to be dealt with. They added framing, trim, paint, sealant, anything needed to make the windows look professionally installed. They even added more trim, paint, or sealant where they thought it was needed on the existing walls to freshen up the look of what was next to the new work. One guy clearly had more experience than the other, but he did an excellent job guiding the other guy and keeping the whole job moving forward in record time. I got a lot of compliments from the neighbors about the whole process and the final results.
They brought their own heavy duty vacuum to handle the cleaning and cleaned up as they were working during the day, plus very thoroughly when they were done for the day. They even took off their shoes to work upstairs when they realized I took mine off in the house.
I found the company at the Philadelphia Home Show and was initially impressed that the company had a lot of experience and good customer feedback. What sold me was the great communication and solid feedback I got to all of my questions. I felt everyone really listened to me and were invested in providing an end result that was what I wanted.
