Job Stories From Burlington County, NJ
New Red Metal Roof Install

To start the installation we removed an existing cedar shake roof on this historic stone front colonial house in Bucks County, PA. We then replaced the roof with a Colonial red standing seam roof with custom metal flashing for both chimneys. In addition, we replaced the rotting wood on the dormer using zero maintenance fiber cement siding by James Hardie as well as azek trim pieces. The goal was to preserve the historic appeal of the home while at the same time eliminating all maintenance with lifetime metal roofing.

Custom Copper Siding using Standing Seam Panels in Moorestown, NJ

This custom copper siding project in Moorestown, NJ is a perfect example of why Global Home Improvement is the ONLY choice for unique projects that other contractors simply can't handle. These homeowners wanted a unique look for their home's unique architecture (other than the old falling apart siding) so the decided to go with a natural copper panel that will age and patina over time. Global Home Improvement was able to offer a standing seam copper panel that did not require soldering along the vertical panels which were able to save money on this very expensive project. We did solder along the windows and horizontal points for extra stability and water protection. These customers were so thrilled that they later called Global back to fix their curved copper roofing!

James Hardie Cedar Shake and Scallop and Metal Slate Roof Install in Delanco, NJ

For this project in Delanco, NJ, we completely replaced the home's failing cedar shakes and asphalt roof with James Hardie Cedar Shakes and installed a Metal Slate roof. These homeowners' asphalt roof lasted about 30 years before it had to be replaced, which is actually pretty long for an asphalt roof. It's not uncommon for asphalt shingles to curl prematurely and require a replacement earlier on. Our metal slate roofs will last a lifetime and you won't see a lot of the wear and tear associated with asphalt shingles. Plus, the metal slate looks amazing.

The homes original cedar shakes had a lot of issues, one being the cost to consistently maintain and repaint it. That's why these homeowners chose our low maintenance James Hardie Cedar Shake and Scallop siding. Fiber cement isn't susceptible to water damage, rot, and mold growth like wood. To see how we can transform your home, give us a call.

Shingle Roof Installation, Wood Entry Door Installation, and Chimney Work and Flashing in Medford, NJ
For this larger home improvement project in Medford, NJ, we replaced the home's existing shingle roof, replaced the home's entry door, and improved the chimney a bit. The home's old roof had some leaks and the homeowner wanted a cost-effective, beautiful new roof that wouldn't require too much maintenance and last quite a while. This made Timberline shingles an excellent choice. The chimney is a vulnerable point of any room and was a main source of the leaks, so we paid extra attention to our flashing there. With the durability and longlasting nature of these shingles, this home's roof will bring great performance to this home for quite a while.

Another big part of this project was replacing the entry door. We installed a mahogany wood door to this cabin. Aside from being a very durable entry door option, mahogany wood doors are able to be customized pretty extensively, as you can see. This door brings a balance of toughness and designer looks.

Medford, NJ Sunroom Windows, Ceiling, and Door Renovation
For this sunroom renovation project in Medford, NJ we stripped it down to its bare bones and rebuilt it from the ground up. A major portion of the project was installing windows. The customer went for a fiberglass composite exterior with a wood interior to match the cabin's theme. The fiberglass was a great call because of its strength and durability. Fiberglass is much stronger than vinyl or wood, so it guarantees a safe seal. When you have windows this size, seal failure can be catastrophic to your ability to keep the space warm or cool.

We also replaced the room ceiling with cedar boards and installed maple trim for the windows and doors. We also removed the interior sliding doors to open the space up. After all of the renovations, the space looks a lot bigger and a lot brighter. Plus, the new wood interior looks great and goes so well with the cabin theme.

High-Quality Window Installation in Bordentown, NJ
For this high-quality vinyl window installation in Bordentown, NJ, we replaced the home's existing deteriorating windows. These homeowners were looking for energy efficiency, UV protection, and low-maintenance. This made our Global Tech vinyl windows the perfect choice. With windows this size, the energy efficiency of your home is intertwined with the quality of your windows. We use high-grade vinyl in the frame to support the seal of the window, ensuring longterm performance. Coupled with the argon insulated window, heat will have a tough time passing through the window, meaning heating and cooling costs will drop. The tempered glass also makes the glass much stronger. However, if an impact is strong enough to break that glass, it will shatter into harmless pieces instead of sharp shards.
