NJ Contractors No-longer Required to Apply for Permits for Roofing and Siding Projects

Permits are no longer required for siding and roofing work in NJ, saving projects time and money.

As of March 5, 2018, all roofing and siding jobs for 1& 2 residential dwellings in NJ will no longer require applying for a permit.

We at Global Home Improvement are especially excited by this news because we don’t have to wait any extra time to get permits approved, and additional permit costs get freed up.

So for homeowners, the money that would have gone toward permits could now be spent on improving the projects with helpful features like snow guards, redone gutters, etc. This also allows your project to start and finish much faster. All-in-all, this is a win-win for contractors and homeowners because it clears out an obstacle, allowing all concentration to be on the project.

It seems this news has come at the perfect time, too. With Spring on the horizon, it’s the perfect time to start planning a home improvement project.

We look forward to working with you on your future projects. Thinking of starting a home improvement project? Give us a call at 1-855-960-5401
