Global lived up to their advertised reputation on my project. My communications with Global during the project were coordinated through a very competent Production Manager/Service Coordinator and a very detailed oriented Project Manager. I am very pleased with them both and the results.
The inside sales representatives are courteous, well trained in their duties and prompt with replies to inquiries.
I requested and received 3 contractors, including Global, from the Hardie Board site. I solicited them and 2 others I found online. I spoke with the 3 companies who followed up within 2 weeks. The rep from Global was the first to visit, most informed about the business and the most patient in answering my questions rather than simply quickly measuring and either taking my order or promising to send someone else to visit.
The installation crew was skilled and effective. During installation of the Hardie boards, the crew discovered foundation damage to my 30 year old house. At first I was very concerned that the project would be stalled and I would need to involve another vendor to repair the damage. Global's project manager assured me that it was a resolvable matter. I requested a proposal that he prepared, verified the details with my architect relative, approved the work and a skilled team completed the fix. The manager also required my inspection and approval of the repair work before the installation of the siding. I am very happy that they disclosed the situation to me rather than simply covering it with the new siding. Because of custom coloring I required, my project was painted onsite. I simply gave the project manager the color coding and they completed the task. The Hardie Board installation crew was clearly skilled to complete the task.
Clean up was completed at end of each phase of the project.
The sales representative did an outstanding job explaining the company's approach and reputation and detailing every aspect of the work. Price was competitive but not the deciding factor.
