WILLIAM JEANES MEMORIAL LIBRARY RECEIVES A NEW TODDLER PLAY STRUCTURE
THROUGH A COLLABORATION
BETWEEN GLOBAL HOME IMPROVEMENT AND CBS ECOMEDIA
William Jeanes Memorial Library – 4051 Joshua Rd Lafayette Hill, PA 19444
LAFAYETTE HILL, PA. – William Jeanes Memorial Library – 4051 Joshua Rd Lafayette Hill, PA 19444 – Recently, William Jeanes Memorial Library received new play and exercise equipment through Global Home Improvement’s participation in a unique advertising program offered by CBS EcoMedia, which connects advertisers with worthy nonprofit partners requesting financial support for their critically needed community projects.
Today William Jeanes Memorial Library hosted a ribbon cutting and community celebration for the new play structure attended by happy toddlers, their parents and caregivers, along with Adam Parnes, Marketing Manager for Global Home Improvement, Inc., Mary Romance, Interim Director, William Jeanes Memorial Library, and the William Jeanes Memorial Library board of directors.
The new toddler structure provides the community with a safe new place for two– to five–year–old children to play and get the physical activity so vital to establishing good health habits. Not only does the outdoor play structure provide a play area for children when their parents visit the library, it also extends family library time. By being engaged at an early age, children get the added opportunity to grow within the library environment through books, regularly scheduled story times and other learning activities.
The toddler play structure is expected to help young children learn important social lessons about sharing and taking turns as well as to give them obesity-fighting fitness opportunities.
“We are honored to work with William Jeanes Library in providing a brand new play ground for young children ages three-to-eight,” said Adam Parnes, Marketing Manager for Global Home Improvement, Inc. “This project combines two of our favorite pastimes; education and fun. We hope that this will add an additional element of interaction for young kids and their parents who utilize the library’s phenomenal resources and activities programs.”
“Helping toddlers start off on the right foot by providing them with such a great play facility is one of the best things we can do for our children during their highly formative early years,” said Paul Polizzotto, President and Founder of CBS EcoMedia. “We salute our advertising partners at Global Home Improvement for their drive to improve not only the communities they do business in but the lives of the people in those communities. EcoMedia is proud to work in tandem with Global Home Improvement and the William Jeanes Memorial Library in this public private partnership aimed at promoting healthier – and I’m sure happier – children for many years to come.”
